History[]

Loew's Airways wanted to open hotels in smaller cities and then offer tours of different smaller cities further away. Loew's Airways Owner/CEO W. Allen decided to operate these tours by air. The airline began operating only for Loew's Hotels guests before it allowed the public to fly on the airline. The airline was a ULCC (Ultra-Low-Cost-Carrier) and had trouble making a profit. The airline operated 2 Boeing 717 and a Boeing 737-300.
